THE VCF FOUNDATION AND TM REAL ESTATE GROUP, MAIN PARTNER OF VALENCIA CF, DONATE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR THE DOROTHY DAY FOSTER HOME
With the objective of helping the social and labor insertion of migrant women, men and children.
Valencia CF, through the VCF Foundation, and TM Real Estate Group, Main Partner of the Club, have provided the equipment for a computer classroom for the Dorothy Day Shelter, which depends on the Social Work Institute (ISO). This donation will help the social and labor insertion of users.
Inma Ibáñez, director of the VCF Foundation, and Lucas Serrano, director of Communication and Corporate Responsibility of TM Real Estate Group, participated in the delivery of 10 desktop computers and five laptops to the Dorothy Day Shelter.
More than 300 people will be able to benefit from this donation, thanks to the different programs carried out in this center.
The desktop computers will be used to equip the computer room and each of the apartments, thus providing the residents with access to new technologies. The laptops are used by technicians, volunteers and other professionals to facilitate the development of talks and workshops for users.
The ISO, which has six houses in total in Valencia and province, serves women, men and children of different nationalities and with different personal situations; all with the common denominator of having left their own country in search of a better quality of life.
